We Empower Families

We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and we try our best to empower parents with a stronger sense of physical and emotional tenacity. This is done through partnering fellow do-gooders to carry out livelihood support and psychosocial support.

House Visits

Join us in engaging families and learn about their strengths, needs and aspirations through home visits. To date, we have engaged over 80 families across Kebun Baru, Canberra, and Clementi. We build relationships and invest heavily in understanding each and every need to provide solutions to their problems. We hope to continue to be their trusted friends as we grow together as one big family and community.

Psycho-Social Support

We support parents who face stress and require support to maintain wellness. Through partnerships with experts, we co-design and lead activities to raise awareness on different family and community-level coping strategies.

Livelihood Support

We are exploring new ways of supporting their livelihood as part of a broader effort to improve family coping capacity. By working with employers and families, we strive to assist parents to stay at a job to achieve stability and re-establish routines for the family. Over time, we guide the family to set long-term goals based on stable financial and social inputs. We are currently working on producing a customized framework based on development studies by UN agencies.
